Moleskin.

   A new afternoon, and a brand new A4 Moleskin notebook.  I cannot tell you how much I love the feel of one of these pads.
   For me they are as desirable as Frankincense, and Gold.  The black color scheme pops brilliantly with my silver Cross pen, and the creative juices just seem to flow freely when both these two come together in symbiotic harmony.

I am also going to include an image I photographed last night when out and about in Greenwich.  It was taken of the beautiful, and majestic Cutty Sark, which after a long awaited redevelopment, seems from all exterior premises to be visually functional.  I really like how the image looks almost juxtaposed, like a piece of photo-montage.

My return from abroad.

   I have returned.  Barcelona was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited.  A cacophony of interlinking styles, fashions and ideas.

Trip

   A new and engaging trip has come up for me to attend.  As of next Thursday till next Sunday I shall be vacationing in the glorious Barcelona.  I am very much looking forward to this getaway and will upload photos of my trip when I return. =]

Musings on a New Year.

  Lately I have found a rekindled amusement in sketching.  Whether it be the feel of a cheap Bic between my fingers, or the scratching of nib to paper, it has felt both great and slightly exuberant.  Here are a few sketches that have come from the noggin' into the forefront of my consciousness. 

Art Work.

Here are a few drawings I did in my spare time.  I became very interested when looking at a Complete guide to William Hogarth, as well as seeing some of Leonardo DaVinci's work in the National Gallery last week.  I thoroughly enjoy the anatomical aspects of two of these three drawings, with special attention to the use of tone, light, and the muscular apparatus.

The other drawing was produced after feeling a sudden urge of boredom lift, and therefore replaced by the need to draw and produce, random, morphed people.
